Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer

Applied Materials India is looking for Technical Product Support Engineers for Process Diagnostics and Control (PDC) products.

Our PDC products comprise advanced imaging hardware- Deep UV Imaging, Scanning Electron Microscopy, and cutting-edge software to detect, measure and classify nanometer size defects from semiconductor fabrication process steps.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides technical support on site: diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment
Responsible for all aspects of technical support for customers: escalations, fleet performance, proactive activities, system install schedules, programs and upgrades
Captures and collects issues and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems to design engineering
Attends Customer Field Issues meetings and presents updates on field issue resolution actions.
Supports NPI (New Product Introduction) at key customers
Conducts CE training as needed

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor/Masters in Electrical/Mechanical Engg with 2+ years of work experience
Onsite Technical Product Support experience in installing and troubleshooting complex hardware equipment
Open to 60% travel to leading semiconductor chip manufacturing fabs overseas
Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a team, and ability to work independently
