In this role, you are part of an agile development team in the Systems Engineering & Architecture department. Our teams have a common drive to help others, and a passion for excellence. You will be involved in all phases of development including project scoping, team building, working with business leads and project managers, organizing sprints, managing deadlines, understanding and articulating priorities, architecting solutions, coding and delivering high quality results. You will be collaborating with a talented, experienced cross-functional team, providing best-in-class solutions for complex problems. Our innovative system enables clinicians to deliver more comprehensive and effective care by allowing them to focus on patients and treatments rather than systems and technologies.
If you are passionate about developing complex distributed systems and interoperability between different Varian and 3rd party solutions, and you want to define the future of radiotherapy with us, this is the ideal role for you.
Participate in all stages of software development (analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance)
Effectively select and apply different patterns and principles of Software design.
Provide inputs on system-level design and development including estimates.
Detect, report, investigate, analyse, and fix product related defects.
Identify project risk early and raise concerns to leadership.
Orchestrates and steers team collaboration to achieve overall goals.
Mentor junior colleagues and actively shares knowledge.
Desired Qualifications And Skills
Demonstrated mature levels of knowledge and experience with current software technologies and be able to co-ordinate and support the work of several other developer associates.
Several years of experience in software development
Analyses full dimension of complex problems. Traces down every single issue to the very root cause no matter in which owning area it is.
Proactively drives his own learning journey, taking on and mastering new skills.
Adapts communication so complex issues are easily understood by others.
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
Able to perform tasks from adjacent disciplines.
Due to the safety-critical nature of radiation therapy, your commitment to quality is a must.
What Will Set You Apart
Strong experience in RESTful API development and maintenance.
Good understanding in MS technologies like WPF, C# and .NET Core.
Good understanding of C++.
Experience in software & cloud Architecture & Design.
Healthcare domain knowledge, especially in radiotherapy
Knowledge of medical interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7 and DICOM.
Highly motivated, open personality with an end-to-end development mindset.
