Service Siting team is part of Global Siting Solutions and it is globally responsible for handling and delivering new standards of wind & site assessment related to the After Sales products that are designed by Vestas for improving the Annual Energy Production (AEP) of the wind turbines and delivering asset management analysis in the renewable sector. We are a team of 20 employees supporting towards Fleet Optimization, Turbine Refurbishment, Root cause, Operational Review and Component Failure rate analysis.

Responsibilities
Interaction with different Service units across the globe to identify the business opportunities and support sales initiatives
Carry out detailed technical assessment of windfarm which includes wind data analysis, wind flow modelling, load evaluation & turbine data analysis – NAPC trends, alarm logs occurrences etc
Support development of new tools and process improvement initiatives within the team and with stakeholders
Coordination with different departments on technical and commercial front to finalize tailor made recommendations for the Customer
Reporting with global consultancy standards
Stakeholder management which includes internal as well as external parties
Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s in any engineering speciallization
12 years +of work experience in wind industry out of which 7 Years +of experience in Turbine data / Root cause analysis and Performance Improvement
Expert knowledge in WindPRO, WAsP, WAsP Engineering or equivalents
Programming skills in R & Python will be an added advantage
Advanced MS Office skills
Competencies
Organized & systematic and have a consistent attention to detail, which enables you to meet deadlines with utmost quality
Possess high statistical aptitude
Positive and open to tests
Should be capable of interacting with Customers to strengthen the relationship and to forester future business
Should be able to work in a matrix organization and to get the deliverables from different teams under tight timelines
Proficiency in English language
Have an interest in wind, terrain, aerodynamics, dynamically loaded constructions and programing languages
