Job Description

The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for helping different development team on Secure Software Development Life Cycle. Protecting the applications from known threats and vulnerabilities by scanning the project, which are deployed into into different cloud platforms and helping the team to remediate the issues based on the reports.

This role will help towards to identify the vulnerabilities and improve the security around cloud-based applications, across all types (including Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).

Identify existing vulnerabilities cloud deployed applications. Closely work with the development team to fix the vulnerabilities.

Take initiatives to share knowledge across Security Platforms and/or Technology teams. Identifies, recommends, coordinates, deliver timely knowledge to support teams regarding technologies, processes or tools. Develops and executes strategies to increase Cloud Security knowledge throughout the enterprise.
Work with development tea to eliminate false positive alerts
Proactively learn latest technologies and implement it.

Technical Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other Engineering field.
5+ years hands-on private or public Cloud experience. AWS, GCP, Azure (AWS preferred)
Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security tools such as Fortify and Prisma.
Experience in AWS Security tools like (IAM, Security Hub, Shield, WAF, Secrets Manager, etc
troubleshooting Applications, Storage, Network, Security for common vulnerabilities.
Basic understanding of any language. Python preferred.
Experience on CI-CD
Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated.
Knowledge in Pen testing preferred.
AWS certification.
