Jones Lang LaSalle, an international commercial real estate firm is looking for a SOAR Engineer with security minded savviness to help design & build Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) implementations.

Responsibilities
Grow and maintain a Splunk SOAR deployment
Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts/workflows within Splunk SOAR for multiple systems and processes throughout the environment
Automation of simple and complex tasks using Python, Splunk playbooks and other tools
Ability to search, correlate, and present data to analysts for the follow up of high-fidelity events that present security concerns
Collaborate with team members to architect secure solutions to complex technological problems
Preparing technical documentation
Investigate and respond to security events and potential incidents in accordance with prescribed procedures
Drive the mitigation of security related findings to ensure appropriate progress within recommended time frame

Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Cyber Security field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in the information technology, which includes:
Minimum of 4+ years of them in Cyber Security
At least five years of Splunk SOAR (Phantom) experience with a deep understanding of:
Configuring apps and assets
Mission control and case management
Multi tenancy on the platform
Playbook creation and the visual playbook editor
Interacting with users during playbook execution
Integrating workflows with other systems via APIs (e.g., Slack, REST, etc.)
Python Programming Experience

Technical Skills & Competencies
Strong technical documentation skills with the ability to document the automation systems and processes.
Experience in troubleshooting and solving complex information security issues.
Strong written communication skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Works well with the team and stakeholders.
Willingness to learn.
DevOps Experience with a security focus is a plus.
Basic system administration foundation is a plus.
