Develop commercial understanding of the business and each product line for risk assessment. Scan regulatory environment, identify, interpret, and analyse legislations, amendments & notifications that may have an impact; bring to the notice of the appropriate functions about implications and applicability.
Create/maintain repository on applicable laws, FAQs, dos & don’ts as a ready reference. Prepare SOPs and playbooks for process optimization. Provide expert & strategic legal advice to management on optimising contracting process, stamping, e-sign, repository access etc.
Establish an auditable and robust process for contract management, renewals, monitoring key requirements, TAT expectations, repository, and retrieval process.


University Degree in law with relevant subject matter expertise related to finance, corporate law etc. LLM is not mandatory but will be an advantage.
Minimum 10 years PQE. A right mix of law firm and in-house counsel experience in financial services / banking / NBFC/ payment aggregator / e-Commerce is preferred.
Have strong drafting and communication skills.
Exposure to a variety of contracts – Complex IT /software development, licensing, marketing, and branding, real estate to variety of vendors, suppliers, service contracts – both revenue and expense line contracts.
