The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
The FCPS (Finance Change and Production Services) team, which is part of the (GFC) Global Financial Control organization within CFO division, delivers finance projects and technology solutions for the Bank of America (BAC) enterprise and also supports Line of Business (LOB) projects that impact our core finance and general ledger applications. The Finance Change team is responsible for overall program/project management, business analysis and requirements, functional design, testing, organization readiness and deployment activities. The Production Services function ensures all financial accounting & regulatory reporting systems and applications are operating smoothly from a functional perspective.
This role is for a business analyst resource responsible for documenting detailed business requirements in support of the FCPS delivery of programs/projects in the US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM regulatory reporting groups and general ledger operations. The resource will be responsible for defining and documenting the current state and target state processes, and development of documented detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for the project. The role will work closely the with the business lead / product owner, including upstream / downstream stakeholders, and technology to ensure all aspects of the change are being considered and prioritized when documenting the requirements. The business requirements are the foundation for the design, build, test, operational / organizational readiness and deployment activities in the life cycle of a project.
Execute change in accordance with BAC Enterprise Change Management policies and standards
Managing the process of consolidating project status and governance reports on time and to high quality
Coordinating and producing Steering Committee decks and adhoc management presentations
Tracking risks, issues and dependencies through maintenance of Programme RAID log ensuring timely reporting to support crucial decision making
Maintain and monitor a core set of agreed governance processes and templates to ensure utilized where required
Responding to ad-hoc demands related to Governance and reporting activity as business needs change
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the Programme and across the wider business
Updating and coordinating the monthly forecasting process working closely with the Global PMO team
Work closely with Programme and Project Managers to ensure effective project delivery
Development and maintenance of Programme project plans and roadmaps
Education – B.Com (Hons) or Pass+ good accounting background or CA/ICWA/CS Intermediate.
10 to 13 years
Strong Finance background, Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate
Previous PMO experience on large Programmes
Good people and team leadership skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong rapport, respect and trust with key stakeholders and constituents
Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, every-changing, highly collaborative environment
High attention to detail, detail-oriented, analytical and good with numbers
Proficient in MS: Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with systems development lifecycle practices/methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall methods
Experience with BAC enterprise change management policies, standards and tools
Other technical and data manipulation/analysis skills, including MS Project, MS Visio, MS Access, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
