2 Interaction : Receives guidance from a mentor, interfaces with others in the team to complete assignments as needed / Leads interactions with other sites and departments to complete project objectives

3 Mentoring: Nil / Mentor to Service Engineers or Technicians

4 Planning : Participates in short-term decision planning period (days) / Medium term decision planning period (weeks-months)

5 Customer : Limited customer interface. Works with a team; alongside a more senior engineer as needed. / Independent customer or sales force interface

6 TECHNICAL DISTINCTION + BU Specific : Demonstrates qualification in technical-service field. / Independent completion of service activities

7 Industry Awareness : Takes initiative to learn industry, project, service, EPM market, customer market, business requirements /

8 Providing Solutions : Takes direction from Senior Service Engineer for small service projects / Has a high level of general knowledge and has a service specialization – certification identified and is continuing to develop skills in this product & certification area.

9 Improving the Process : Learns and uses process improvements / Implement Process Change Work

E Desired Educational Qualification

B.E / B.Tech (Instrumentation / ECE/ Electrical). Candidates with degree in other engineering disciplines and experience in similar field can be considered.

Required

F Technical Skills / Knowledge Required

1 Knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) – Basic Requirement.

2 Knowledge of Pharma / Chemical Industry / Refinery is an added advantage.

3 Knowledge of Batch, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Networking, Safety Systems preferred.

4 Knowledge of Basic Cybersecurity requirements as per ISA Standards
