POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Audit & Compliance will work with legal & compliance in driving our compliance strategy across the globe. Collaborate with internal audit in facilitating the SOX audits & ensuring compliance, review policy documents & work towards eliminating any grey areas. The role also involves analyzing current controls on HR tools & processes, thereby bridging gaps and making the controls efficient.
Principal Activities
Lead the HR Compliance calls & bring a discipline of adherence to the prescribed SOX controls with HR leaders across the globe.
Partner with the internal audit team in defining these controls and facilitate execution of these controls.
Gain an understanding of all HR system and process audits, diligently perform these audits and ensure compliance from all participants
Help design, implement, and maintain internal audit procedures and risk assessment processes
Prepare audit findings, write audit reports, and develop recommendations
Follow up on audit recommendations
Job Requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Sound understanding of audit theories, principles, and practices
Familiarity with HR systems and processes
Exposure to several HR audits, both from a technology and process stand point. This could include all or fewer from the below
Compliance. Focuses on how well the organization is complying with current federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Best practices. Helps the organization maintain or improve a competitive advantage by comparing its practices with those of companies identified as having exceptional HR practices.
Strategic. Focuses on strengths and weaknesses of systems and processes to determine whether they align with the HR department’s and the organization’s strategic plan.
Function-specific. Focuses on a specific area in the HR function (e.g., payroll, performance management, records retention)
3+ years relevant audit experience HR
