Project: This is a Ground + 14 stories data center building project in Ambattur, Chennai.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overviewing and conducting schedule health check and CP analysis of the existing detailed project schedule and report out on probability of success of current schedule.
Developing and improving status collection process to ensure quality progress reporting.
Analysing project schedules including comparing cost/resource curves to actuals, tracking float consumption, and change order impact analysis to ensure contractor is compliant with scheduling specification.
Reviewing and assessing the health and safety implications of changes as they occur during construction projects.
Developing, implementing, reporting, and communicating structures on health and safety management performance for each project to enable accurate assessment and evaluation.
Being active in engaging with all aspects of day-to-day health and safety management e.g., attendance, and participation, in
Meetings (both management & personnel as appropriate).
Daily Activity Briefings.
Attending planning and coordination reviews, for both day-to-day and longer-term safety planning for work activities.
Keeping abreast of local and national regulatory laws, rules, regulations and report any changes to client.
Providing safety consultation for regulatory compliance, best practices, and lessons learned.
Ensuring the leasing partner make any regulatory notification required by a County, State, Provincial or regulatory agency within the prescribed timeframes when an incident occurs.
Assisting in the evaluation of effectiveness of health & safety planning at site level, e.g., through the assessment of communications with all parties including contractors, workers, and supervisors.
Carrying out independent health & safety audits on all aspects of construction management, including-
Assist Lease provider in conducting safety in design review to ensure a safe handover to Operations.
Daily Monitoring compliance between health & safety planning and actual works on site.
Assessing compliance with agreed KPIs across all project stages.
Daily high risk activity auditing and inspections.
Communications of Health & Safety at all levels.
Co-ordination of work activities on the sites.
Identification, assessment, and evaluation of high-risk activities.
Training and education.
Reviews of RAMS, safe plans of action, lifting plans, etc.
Competency of contractors and operatives.
Assisting the PM in the assessment of accidents, incidents, and near miss reporting including the evaluation of findings and monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
Ensuring lessons learned are communicated and applied.
On-going assessment of the resources provided by contractors to enable implementation of the contractors safety management program.
Encouraging and promoting health and safety initiatives aimed at influencing positive safety behaviour on the sites, and contractor participation in structured health and safety awards schemes by recognized bodies.
Reporting to and taking direction from, client and their nominated representatives.
Validating schedule updates weekly.
Identifying and mitigating threats to the projects schedule goals and initiate corrective actions through general contractor, as necessary.
Interfacing with site management regarding critical schedule activities, change, impacts to schedule, change orders, project progress.
Facilitating the team in revising logic for schedule compression, forensic analysis to identify cause and effect of delay and reporting.
Developing general contractor resource loading and adjust the schedule or initiate corrective action as appropriate.
Working with leasing partner / general contractor scheduling team to assess impact(s) of schedule slippages and mitigation/re- sequencing measures.
Communicating impact analysis for potential delays and changes to PM.
Managing requests for information and updates to project scheduling specific documents.
Highlighting high-risk activities within the next three months.
Being ensured that the schedule does not impact the safety performance of the project, schedule push or compression shall be discussed with Clients team and with EHS leadership to mitigate possible conflicts.
You have a degree qualification in civil engineering and membership of a suitable professional body with delivering best in class large scale mission critical projects. You have NICMAR / MBEM will be preferred. You have experience in a similar role having a high level of Indian based experience operating as a senior project scheduler. You have a detailed knowledge of safety management, data centre delivery and commissioning processes and expert in P6 and MS project.
You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike.
