Local Unit & Position Description
The role will be part of the Digital Development & Operations team which has responsibility for Development, Operation and Support of DNV’s core Digital Channels, and collaboration solutions for Group Communication and Business Areas.
As DNV is standing in front of a step change in how we develop and maintain our digital channels. We are in the process of moving to a new CMS system; Optimizely (previously called Episerver)
This role will be working with further development of DNVs web sites and our digital touchpoints.
We are looking for a Junior .Net/Fullstack developer.
You will create new elements for our web, configure existing systems and provide Group & Business Areas support for new developments & features.
The role will play a big part in:
Further developing and maintaining our web and CMS environments (Optimizely).
Creating and maintaining documentation related to these solutions.
Handling change requests related to these solutions.
Evaluating requirements, providing advice for most optimal solutions, and giving estimates on tasks to be performed.
Fixing bugs on our web solution.
Position Qualifications
Technical skills and experience we expect you to have:
Proven experience of 2-3 years as a .NET application developer in .Net/ C# based frameworks.
Experience with some of these: JavaScript, React.js, Redux, CSS, SQL database, XHTML, JQuery, XML, XSLT, ajax, JSON and JSP.
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework.
System and application development, configuration, debugging, testing, implementation of systems.
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
We expect you to have:
Experience with software design and architecture
A good understanding of Agile methodologies
Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
Attention to detail, t hinker and do-er, pro-active.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
Minimum BSc In Computer Science or equivalent
Not required but will be very beneficial:
Experience with Optimizely / Episerver
Knowledge of CMS components and concepts: Templating, E-commerce, DXP, Integration, Personalisation.
