We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join our Finance Department. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, investment management, risk assessment, and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance and treasury functions, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure efficient cash management, optimize liquidity, and minimize financial risk.
Monitor and forecast cash flow positions, both short-term and long-term, to ensure adequate liquidity for the organization’s operations and financial obligations.
Manage the company’s relationships with financial institutions, including banks, lenders, and investment firms, to ensure competitive terms, effective cash management services, and access to capital markets.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate investment strategies to maximize returns on surplus funds while considering risk tolerance and regulatory compliance.
Oversee the execution of cash transactions, including domestic payments, foreign payments, transfers, and investments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls.
Assess and manage foreign exchange risks, interest rate risks, and other financial risks associated with the company’s treasury operations.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
Proven experience of X years as a Treasury Manager, Treasurer, or in a similar role within a finance department.
In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, cash management principles, investment strategies, financial risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Strong understanding of financial markets, banking products, and services.
Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and mentoring staff.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
