Commercial Analytics Manager
Support in the development, incubation and delivery of assets that can support organizations make better commercial decisions, including Pricing, Promotion and Assortment Optimisation and other Commercial Improvement technologies
Support the delivery of client engagements and provide Commercial subject matter service within expected timeframes and on budget
Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients business
Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and knowledge of Consumer and Commercial field of play as well as ability to assimilate new learnings
Engagement delivery with global teams around data and analytics strategies such as assessing data and analytics maturity, governance, etc. and creating proof of concepts with client data for important clients in a timely and structured manner
Understand the client industry issues, exhibit problem-solving ability, develop insight and recommendations based on in-depth research on relevant topics, help clients in outlining innovative solutions and drive change
Must be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization from team members to senior leaders. Work with a Can-Do-Attitude: positive attitude and passion for learning in fast-paced environments
Result-oriented: Should be self-motivated to try new ideas and quickly iterate to reach the desired outcome
Ability to take end to end ownership: understanding the business expectation, deciding the approach, performing exploratory data analysis, discovering & communicating insights, driving adoption with business
Proactively scan the business environment and keep a track of emerging trends, highlighting strategic insights that could impact businesses
High cultural sensitivity and comfortable working with different countries and cultures across multiple time-zones
Demonstrate strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative analytics techniques such as the ability to carry out executive interviews, create insightful presentations, create data models, building high-quality visualizations based on client needs and requirements Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS PowerPoint (mandatory)
Expertise in data analysis using SQL/Python/ R, data visualizing using any one of the tools – Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau
Make high impact client presentations with a compelling storyboard, hypotheses, and visualization to deliver actionable recommendations
Demonstrate an inquisitive mindset, ability to think through the problem statement, proposed solution, ability to ask the right questions to the client and the engagement manager
The selected candidate will be responsible for client delivery on one or more projects as an individual contributor. This may include aspects such as project planning, delivery, providing recommendations, and ensuring closure of all workstreams independently as per internal quality standards and within the agreed timelines.

Bachelor, Masters, or PhD degree in Economics, Business, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus, or equivalent experience
Working experience within a commercial/industrial context preferably within Consumer Products or Retail and particular focus on:
Revenue Management including pricing, promotion, assortment and portfolio optimization
Marketing and Sales operating model, process and capability improvements
Data modelling and management, integration and manipulation of large disparate datasets
Knowledge of Alteryx, SQL, Python and PowerBI preferred
10+ years of work experience, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Analytics across one or more business functions – Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial Analytics, Digital Marketing, Retail Analytics, Digital Transformation
Domain knowledge of manufacturing, life sciences, consumer products, retail or telecome is a plus
Must have demonstrated strong analytical skills across academic and professional experience
Fluent in English
