Cloud Backend Developer Full Time

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

Job Description

Candidate must be good at writing programs using Python, Scala, Spark and Java. Exposure to one of the cloud platforms is mandatory. Exposure to PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elastic-Search or any No-SQL database is desirable. Experience in stream processing software like Apache Kafka or Message brokers like RMQ is good to have.

Responsibilities

Working with product management organization to get the requirement clarity including UX/UI.
Designing cloud software solution for scale and working with multiple stack holders to get it approved
Development of designed solution for the requirement with few team member while proving the leadership
Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with applications design
Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Debugging customer found issues and QA found issues on both internal and production cluster.
Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software applications design organization.

Education And Experience Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Typically 8-12 years of experience.

Knowledge And Skills

Extensive experience with multiple software applications design tools and languages.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience in overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions.
Designing and integrating software applications running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
Evaluating forms and processes for software applications testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
